Golden opportunity for upcoming singers
Continuing its quest for promoting singing talent, Nirvana Musical Group has joined hands with Anant Musical Dreams and co hosted the first programme namely ‘Versatile Moods of Asha’ a solo show of Nirupama Dey at Ravindra Natyamandir. Shalaka Redkar of Nirvana got the opportunity to showcase her talent on the big platform which she grabbed with both the hands.
Shalaka sang evergreen beautiful rendition of Ashaji ‘Aao Huzur Tumko Sitaronpe Le Chaloon’ in the company of 25 musicians led by none other than Flute Maestro Mohit Shastry and received thunderous applause along with loud shouts of ‘once more’!
To increase the scope of talent hunt, Nirvana is also commencing music workshops for all, inviting knowledgeable speakers connected with music to educate and guide passionate singers. The main focus shall be on technical aspects of singing from stage mannerism to confidence building measures, song selection to presentation; the workshops will cover every minute point to enhance the singing experience of the participants those will also have a privilege of being auditioned for the upcoming programmes to be held in various big auditoriums across Mumbai. These workshops are open for all wherein anyone can try their luck and explore the opportunity. Nirvana is already committed to host big shows with Bappi Lahiri (19th April- Dinanath Mangeshkar Auditorium), Udit Narayan, Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik and Sadhna Sargam (24th May), Amit Kumar/Sudesh Bhosle (29th June), Javed Ali (somewhere in July) all 3 programmes in Shanmukhananda Auditorium a dream venue for singing sensations.
Nirvana’s evergreen singers Anupama Gupta and Kunal Kaushal are set to sing with Bappi Lahiri ji himself in the coming show. Another versatile Nirvana singer Arti Gagdil has got the opportunity to sing at Shanmukhananda Hall in the august company of playback singers. All show passes will be available on Book My Show from time to time.

Next Nirvana programme to take place on 13th April wherein guitar based songs will be presented by Group A members in the august company of guitarist Mr. Arvind Haldipur who has played original tunes of many RD Burman compositions. This is a small tribute to the legends of Hindi music.
