Unmatchable singing talent at Nirvana

Nirvana Team takes this opportunity to condemn the dastardly Pulwama attack on our beloved soldiers and offer condolences to the bereaved families for the loss of their sons of soil. It is a shameful and cowardly attack on our soldiers and may God bless the departed souls.

On the 9th February, Nirvana’s B group performed at Banquet Hall, Lake Homes in the presence of ever enthusiastic Nirvana audience and members. This time there was no theme and hence all the singers had an opportunity to sing whatever they desired. Each and every member whether new or old grabbed the opportunity and chose the best song and rendered them beautifully. The freedom surely made a difference.

While each one of them sang with extra zeal and sincerity, female members painted the hall with their red attire befitting the then oncoming Valentines Day. It was a wonderful sight to see most of them in the red sarees, dresses and other outfits which surely lit up the atmosphere.

Talking about the performances, the star of February was surely none other than Jayesh Sawant who has been part of Nirvana since 3 years  and has been consistent performer. The dashing, ever smiling and ever helping Jayesh is a very familier face whenever Nirvana has performed at various venues be it Yerawada, Dinanath Auditorium or other venues in Powai. His impeccable style makes him different than other singers as confidence is his biggest forte. Working as a Senior Manager with Hiranandani Developers, Jayesh is also very famous in marathon runners groups as he has been participating in full marathons year after year. A fitness freak and a fantastic dancer, Jayesh has also successfully completed the Ladakh Run, which is considered as the most difficult run at 11,000 ft above the sea level. He is also famously known as ‘Zingaat Boy’ of Nirvana.

Going against his strength Jayesh sang soft numbers such as Mujhe Raat Din from Sangharsh, Tum Ladki Ho from Maine Pyar Kiya and also fast numbers Jaane Do Jaane Do Mujhe Jaana Hai from Shahensha (both with Samina Shaikh) and Kab Tak Chup Baithe from Dil Toh Pagal Hai with his dear friend Archana Rao.

Jayesh has been invited by many musical groups to lend his voice and he gives full credit to Nirvana Group for his ascent in singing. In his own words, “I used to sing aimlessly on various one fine day accidentally met founder of Nirvana Music Group Mr. Sanjay Rohida, who told me about Nirvana and prompted me to join and pursue my passion seriously.  After joining the group I started improving in various genre of music and there was no looking back. I owe my success, name and fame to Nirvana and especially SanjayJi who always advises me and promote me in various music shows. Though I have not learned music but I do get  blessings and tips from Mr. Shriram Patwardhan who has worked with many famous artists.”
