Interactive session with MLA Naseem Khan

Federation of Panch Sristhi Co-operative Housing Societies invited former minister & sitting MLA from Chandivalli constituency, Shri Arif (Naseem) Khan on Sunday, 20th January 2018 for an interactive session with the residents of the Complex. More than 175 residents assembled at Panch Club to attend the meeting on early hours of Sunday.

While speaking during the occasion, Mr. Indranil Chatterjee, Chairman of the Federation (which currently represents 10 registered Societies, like Leela Mahal, Panch Vati - A , Panch Vati- B, Panch Smruti, Panch Ritu, Gundech Hills, Kailesh Tower, Bhagtani Shiv Sristhi, Bhagtani Manor - 3A and Bhagtani Manor - 3B and one more Society in process of induction), conveyed his thanks to Naseem Khan for his continuous support and help extended for last several years to the Federation, individual Societies and even to individual residents, when ever they approached him for any support, be it a water supply issue, street lights, MGL: gas connection so on and so forth.
However on behalf of the residents of the Complex, he strongly put forward the two major concerns like condition of Complex Road and the increasing traffic on the mentioned road including heavy vehicles, who are currently using this internal narrow road, (which is also a private layout road) as thoroughfare. Mr. Chatterjee further seek his help to support Federation by redo the entire road and use his good office to address the traffic problems.

Further residents has also raised problems like noises from nearby construction projects during late night violating BMC rules, traffic problems caused by SM Shetty School and their reluctant to handle the same, different polling stations for same complex people, even for same buildings and same family members. Shri. Khan has patiently heard the concerns and committed to address the issues by taking up the matter with respective authorities like for traffic with DCP - Traffic, etc. He also mentioned that currently the Complex Road is a layout road and cannot be done through BMC or from MLA fund, however he understands the residents concerns and day to day inconvenience and committed to re-build the road. He said he will initiate the discussion with Lake Reveria and ensure the road is re-build shortly. Members and Residents present were very happy to see his eagerness and response to address the problems, but want the same should be done on war footing basis.
