A small initiative could have a huge impact if it is taken as a positive lesson for life. “IBS SWASTH BHARAT RUN”organized by IBS Mumbai on 23rd December in collaboration with our partners was to bring a small change in your hectic scheduled by resetting your day and inspire for the long haul. The event was flagged off at 7am by Mr. Sudhir Naik, Joint Municipal Commissioner- MCMG, in the presence of Dr. Pritee Saxsena, Director Corporate Connections & Deputy Campus Head- IBS Mumbai and Prof. Hemant Purandare, Dean Academics- IBS Mumbai.
5K IBS Swasth Bharat Run had participants from all walks of life, it not only lit the fire in young and old minds alike to stay fit, it also gave a message to the street viewers. More than 500+ participants from every corner of the city colored the streets with joy and made the event a great success.
The 'runners' received Certificates and Medals for their initiative to inspire self and everyone around them to lead a healthier life. Amol Sakpal took the lead to hit the finish line in less than 15 minutes, followed by Mannu Singh and Avneesh Choubey as first and second runner up respectively. Where in case of women, Deepika Sharma took the lead, followed by Niriksha Shetty and Renuka Nandulkar secured second and third positions respectively.
