Nirvana celebrated 4th b'day with nation's Daamad Mihir Virani alias Amar Upadhyay

The last programme of Season 3 of Nirvana A group saw Mihir Virani aka Amar Upadhyay singing for the first ever on any forum. Amar selected Nirvana Group to sing once he realized that this group is for amateur singers and he can surely satiate his thirst for singing on this forum. Kunal Kaushal from Nirvana was instrumental in convincing him to take a plunge in singing which Amar did in style.

The oldest musical group in Powai successfully completed 3 years in the Nahar International School Auditorium on the 19th August belting famous Yashraj movie songs and few selected Madhuri / Rishi Kapoor songs to the delight of cheerful audience.

Amar Upadhyay, surprisingly selected and sang Tadap Tadap Ke Iss Dil se and Pyar Deewana Hota Hai perfectly on the live music and surprised all! His liking for music has originated from his maternal parents/grand parents those who have been into singing.

All Nirvana A group singers sang very well in front of the seasoned audience which included Mrs. Meenakshi Khosla from Lotus Leaf Entertainment, (very well known in the music circle) and Mr. Surendra Singh who has created many foot tapping no's with Rajesh Roshan. Both these guests showered praise on Nirvana Group and it's journey and Mrs. Meenakshi (Mini) Khosla also  declared that she will host a programme with Nirvana’s talented and hard working singers under the banner of Lotus Leaf Entertainment.

The entire programme was very well compered by Ms. Mona Kothari, a well wisher of Nirvana who shared good information about Nirvana's formation with the audience.

Season 3 finale of Nirvana peaked to its pinnacle when Shalaka Redkar and Arti Gadgil entered the stage in Bengali attire while they flawlessly rendered Dola Re Dola Re from Devdas. Madhura Vartak also sang extremely beautifully with voice modulation in Morni Baga Ma Bole. As usual, each and every Nirvana member sang effortlessly and with impeccable ease and flavour.

Looking at the upward graph in the quality singing, Powai Bengali Welfare Association (PBWA) has given an opportunity to Nirvanaites this year to sing on Ashtami day of Durga Puja and Nirvana's best singers will be singing on 28th September from 2pm onwards at Durga Puja Ground. This programme will be strictly for 90 mins. Nirvana will also be participating in DAAN UTSAV in October to collect grains for malnourished children in the drought hit areas.
