Apple released a new Macintosh computer (also know as iMac) alongside 2 newiPads in its Apple Special Event on Ocotber 16. It is supposedly called 'iMac with Retina 5K Display' while the new iPads are going to e called ‘iPad Air 2’ and ‘iPad Mini 3’.

The new iMac with Retina 5K Display is a powerhouse and has a plethora of features but the best one, as the name suggests is the display. The new iMac packs a lovely 5K resolution (In geek terms: 5120x2880 pixels). That means it has an unbelievable 14.7 million pixels all compressed into one single 27-inch pice of aluminium. And it's just 5mm at its edge! It has a quad-core Intel Core processor, you can choose between the 3.5GHz i5 or the 4.0GHz i7. An AMD GPU provides up to 3.5 teraflops of graphics' power. Inbuilt Thunderbolt 2 I/O provides a speed of 20 Gigabits per second while the USB 3 is capable of transferring files at 5 Gigabits. It can wirelessly transmit data using ultrafast IEEE 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities. It also uses Apple's Fusion Drive whichoptimises data usage by sensibly placing files in the high speed flash storage or the inferior hard drive. The Fusion Drive is available for upto 3TB. The computer packs high-fidelity speakers and dual microphones so you can hear and be heard clearly. And FaceTime is a breeze with the camera which can record video at 720p. This iMac uses OS X Yosemite which is by far the most capable and powerful operating system, and by integrating the hardware and software in such harmony, Apple has made the best all-in-one till date. This technological masterpiece will be available for $2499.

The new iPad Air 2’s specifications are simply unbelievable and we can safely assume it is absolutely he best tablet you can get out there.

The iPad Air 2 is a staggering 6.1 mm wide making it the world's slimmest tablet! Just a little below a pound, the tablet doesn't compromise on power and has a 2.5x faster CPU and an amazing 180x better GPU than the first iPad. It has also been fitted with a display enchanted by an antireflective coating, also making it the least reflective tablet screen. It sports an improved 8 megapixels iSight rear camera and a new 1.2 MP FaceTime camera. The M8 motion coprocessor also adds another sensor to its family: the barometer. This sensor can be used by apps when they require the altitudinal coordinates of the device. And this is not it. This iPad is the first one to be adorned with one of the best of Apple's inventions. One which uses your finger as a password. Yes, it is.. Touch ID!

This technologically engineered masterpiece is available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants available for $399, $499 and $599 for Wi-Fi models and $629, $729 and $829 for Cellular+Wi-Fi models respectively. we surely expect this to be one of Apple's most sold products.

The iPad Air 2 set a new superior standard for the new generation tablets packing an immensely powerful system inside a very light enclosure. But the other newly introduced iPad mini 3 wasn't any less than incredible.

Powered by a 64-bit ecosystem: iOS 8, the A7 processor and M7 motion coprocessor, the iPad mini 3 is simply too powerful and efficient for a tablet its size. It is a stunning 7.9 inches high and 5.3 inches wide while only weighing around 0.73 pounds. An LED backlight display with IPS technology, protected by a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, adorns the front. The Retina display packs a beautiful 2048x1536 pixels which provides detailed images. And don't worry Touch ID fans - Apple hasn't compromised on adding our favourite feature! The iPad mini 3 sports a 5MP iSight camera and the regular 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera which is available on almost every iPad. Battery life isn't compromised by the performance and the iPad can last for a whole 10 hours! Unfortunately, the new barometer sensor is not available in this new tablet.

The iPad is available in gold, space grey and silver colours. It is available in two variants: Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular. The storage options are 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. The Wi-Fi models cost $499, $599 and $699 respectively and the Wi-Fi+Cellular models for $629, $729 and $829 respectively.
